NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token, which is a unique digital asset that is stored on a blockchain. It is used to represent ownership of a specific piece of content or digital art. In the case of fundraising, an NFT can be created and sold to supporters of a cause or charity, with the proceeds going towards the cause. The unique nature of NFTs makes them a desirable item for collectors and supporters, which can help generate funds for the cause.

Yes, you can buy NFT with your crypto wallet in ETH or with your credit card. If you decide to use your credit card, you can either send the NFT directly to a wallet address or choose « I don’t have a wallet » and a wallet will be automatically created for you. An email will be sent to you so that you can access your NFTs.

Your NFTs are kept in your wallet address, and you can see them on your profile on Fundation and on other marketplaces as well as in your Wallet if you have one.

  2. Open the browser extension and follow the instruction.

    Choose to set up a new wallet

  3. Create and store your seed phrase in a safe location.

    Your seed phrase is a code that gives you access to your wallet. You need to store it in a very secure location that only you will be able to access. Don’t share your phrase with anyone. Don’t use it on website you are not 100% sure.

  4. Connect your crypto wallet to Fundation
    Once your wallet is set up, you can connect it to Fundation!

When someone makes a traditional donation, they are typically making a straightforward financial contribution to the organization. In contrast, buying an NFT for charity is more of a transactional process, where the buyer receives a unique digital asset in exchange for their donation. The NFT can be a work of art, or have other uses.

    By supporting a cause with an NFT, the donor is not just giving, he is receiving too.

    NFTs have gained popularity in the art and tech communities, and buying an NFT from which proceeds are entirely dedicated to charities may be seen as a way to support a good cause while also participating in the world of digital art and collectibles.
