Gussa is a Costa Rican street artist, an architect, and has been brightening up Costa Rica one massive, colorful, smiley face at a time.
Gussa started creating and painting before he could even talk.
He studied architecture and travelled the world with his art, performing in Spain, the United States, and Mexico.
“I have always being obsessed with happy faces, and this started long before what they look like
today".
When he was not creating street art, Gussa spent time with the Integrated System for Art Education and Social Inclusion in a low-income community in San José, encouraging more people to embrace their artistic creativity.
