"Art for Peace" an NFT Collection to help
shape the new leaders of a new world
The United Nations Institute for Training and Research and University for Peace proudly present our first joint NFT Project, ‘’Art for Peace,‘’ and its first edition:
‘’Pura Vida‘’
‘’Pura Vida‘’ is a collection of 5,000 digital art pieces, designed by the talented Costa Rican Artist Gussa, spreading joy and advocating for equal access to education, one smile at a time.
Pursuing our common mission to reshape the world through knowledge, all proceeds from the collection will go to the Fellowship Programme that will benefit 50 candidates from Least Developed Countries – empowering them with knowledge and skills to make the world a better place.
This is Gussa, the well-known Costa Rican artist behind the “Pura Vida” NFT collection.
He has been brightening up Costa Rica one massive, colorful, smiley face at a time for the past 10 years.
We knew it would the perfect fit.
“Pura Vida” is a powerful, evocative, and expresses the cultural identity, values, and aspirations of Costa Ricans throughout history. It is a tribute to the heritage that led Costa Rica to become the peaceful and joyful country it is today, and a testament to the enduring power art has to connect us to our past, present, and future. And to each other.
Become an Art Collector and join UNITAR and UPEACE on this path of reshaping the world through knowledge. It is time to take meaningful steps to become fit for purpose, to provide learning and broader capacity development needs to help countries achieve the global development agenda.
